Corinth and Loutraki
Corinth is known mostly for the ancient city where the Apostle Paul spoke to the Corinthians, the ruins of which are among the most visited in Greece. Also nearby is the spectacular fortress of Acrocorinth, the largest and oldest fortress in the Peloponnesos. The Corinth Canal, one of the more impressive feats of 19th century engineering was actually begun by the Roman emperor Nero, or at least he thought about it. There are several bridges that cross it, the most exciting is the one on the old road that people actually bungee jump from. The most interesting is on the east entrance of the canal, a bridge that goes underwater! Most people staying in and around Corinth prefer the resort town of Loutraki or the towns on the northern coast of the Peloponnesos. since George charges by the trip and tours charge per-person. He will also book your hotels for you.
