MAIN VILLA accommodation consists of 3 separate bedrooms - 1 Guest Bedroom, with double bed on the ground level including an ensuite bathroom and French doors that open to a private veranda; The romantic Master Bedroom on top level with a canopied double bed, high-wooden-beamed ceilings and a 2nd bedroom with 2 single beds, is ideal for younger guests with a loft that can accommodate 2 more sleeping guests. There is wc/shower that is shared between the two bedrooms. On the ground level, there is a modern, completely fitted kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine, breakfast nook, and living room with television with DVD player and satellite, CD/stereo and fireplace. The kitchen opens onto the large covered veranda next to the pool, which is ideal for summer meals served al fresco.
The larger guest apartment has a two built-in single beds, which can accommodate one or two extra beds for additional sleeping space and has en-suite bath. In this apartment there is an open plan sitting room with sofas, dining area and the beautiful modern kitchen. Both Guest House apartments open onto a beautiful landscaped flower and cactus garden. Separating the Guest House and the Main Villa, is a brilliant blue SWIMMING POOL. VILLA OLIVE GREEN is tastefully furnished with modern, classical furniture accented by island inspired pieces which give the villa a warm and inviting appeal. The historical significance of this villa has a unique appeal of its own. The careful restoration of this property was completed in 2003 with the architect insisting on the retention of the original integrity and design of the main villa, originally constructed in 1807. In addition, Villa Lappas is located one block from the famous Bouboulina Villa, now a museum, operated by the Bouboulina family. The superior location of this magnificent two storey neo-classical villa, adds even greater appeal, as it is only a 3 minutes walking distance from the main harbour, yet in a completely private, centrally located, quiet and enclosed landscaped garden setting. Villa Green Olive is situated in a beautiful garden with green grass, huge pine trees and landscaped garden full of seasonal flowers, plants and cactus which are all lovingly cared for on a regular basis by the gardener. The grounds include an outdoor BBQ near the pool and covered veranda. There are many terraces including one with a unique, locally created Spetses designed mosaic floor with a nautical design, which is a perfect place for al fresco dining. There is plenty of patio furniture that may be placed at the discretion of the residence for their pleasure. The magnificent, lighted pool measures 10m x 5m and is constantly kept clean by the local caretaker. Services and Amenities All linen, domestic towels and pool towels are provided, but guests should bring their own beach towels. A cook and maid can be arranged at extra cost. Local Area There are local shops, including bakery, sweet shops, supermarkets, and clothing boutiques, all within walking distance. The local tavernas serve a variety of local specialties, especially sea food and Greek traditional foods. Spetses is a unique Greek island as there are no motor vehicles allowed in the main town during the peak season. Guests may rent a locally owned Horse and Carriage to go to the local beaches and tavernas or just for a pleasant ride on a balmy summer night. Bicycles are another usual form of local transportation and if you are in fairly good physical condition, you may ride your bikes completely around the island for a lovely day exploring the natural beauty Spetses has to offer its visitors. Spetses may be reached either by regular ferry boat or by the Fast Catamaran, both of which leave from the Port of Pireaus. Alternatively, you may choose to drive along the Eastern coast of the Peloponesse to Porto Heli and passing across to the island on one of the many small ‘taxi-boats’ or the larger ferry from this small port. There are large supervised car parks on the main land where you may leave your car. |
