Vatera Beach, Lesvos

Aphrodite Beach Hotel, LesvosIn Vatera on the longest and most beautiful beach in Lesvos is the hotel that has been called "one of the best family hotels in Greece". Maybe that is because not only is it perfect for families but it is also run by a family. We have children and we know what it takes to keep them happy on a holiday. We offer you and your family the hospitality that is associated with Greece and in particular the island of Lesvos as well as a standard of service, cleanliness and professionalism that we think compares to the finest hotels anywhere in any catagory.

The APHRODITE BEACH HOTEL  has rooms, studios and apartments to offer not only families but honeymooners, couples and singles.

Hotel Aphrodite Beach, poolThe hotel rooms have air-conditioning, mini bars and  refrigerators, television with cable, video, hair-dryers, safety-deposit boxes, telephones, music and bathrooms with luxurious facilities and FREE Wireless Internet!

The studios & apartments have fully-equipped kitchens, telephones, air-conditioning, music, television, video, hair-dryers and more. Not that you will be spending much time in your room with one of the world's most gorgeous beaches right outside.

You can have your breakfast by the sea and taste our traditional Greek recipes at our hotel's restaurant-tavern located on the beach. You can sample flavours that resonate with traces of mystery and the East. The famous product of Lesvos, Ouzo combined with traditional  fish, meat and vegetable dishes and the freshness of summer north-eastern wind will make you feel that you haveentered the door of paradise. All our vegetables come from our organic garden right next to the hotel. The meat comes from our family farm or from other local farmers and the fish, if we have not caught it ourselves we know the person who did and we know it is fresh.

During the day-time you can enjoy ouzo...the sun ...  sea sports... riding with our bicycles...  make a trip with the tourist boat... or play with your friends!!

New! The hotel has a beautiful built-in swimming pool, a children's pool and a pool bar! Plus a sauna, jaccuzi and exercise area as well as therapeutic massage.

Aphrodite Beach Hotel poolAt night you can experience the famous musical evenings that our restaurant is famous for. Some of our friends and family are the finest musicans on the island and you never can tell who will sit-in with us or how many people will get up to dance. You don't know how to dance? Don't worry. We will show you.

One of the most popular forms of entertainment at our hotel is the trampoline which seems to be in constant use from morning until night. Parents have called it the best free baby-sitter they have ever had. While they sit in our taverna the kids can bounce their day (or night) away with all the other children guests of the hotel. In fact we will make the prediction that in a few years every family hotel will have a trampoline.

We welcome you to the Hotel Aphrodite Beach and we promise to give you the most pleasant and unforgettable vacation of your life on the largest and most beautiful beach in Greece. The beach of Vatera.

Bring your kids. They will have plenty of company!

We are Greek-Canadians and speak English and will be pleased to be your hosts and tell you all there is to know about the island of Lesvos.
