But there are those who want to book hotels individually and in many cases there is no reason not to, especially if you are a return traveler who feels confident that you can master the Greek ferry schedules or if its just the way you like to plan your holidays. It is also useful to use as a comparison to what the hotels themselves are charging or the travel agencies. My suggestion is to use this search engine and find the best rate but if it is within a few euros of the rate the Greek travel agent offers then go with the Greek travel agent. It will be worth it to have them organize the ferries, answer questions and make changes if you need to.
