The A-Catagory Hotel Doryssa Bay Village located near Pythagori is a comprehensive holiday resort,
with 310 rooms by the sea, built with an artistic feeling and with respect for the architectural and cultural tradition
of the island. It is an ultramodern Hotel, equipped with all the necessary facilities in order to meet the requirements
of its guests. It is the ideal place to relax, to hold conferences and other cultural activities.  The main Hotel complex includes
170 air-conditioned rooms. The bungalows known as Saint Marina Village are built in the traditional styles of Greece,
down to the last detail. There are 310 sea-view or garden-view rooms, out of which 5 are suites, 291 double rooms
and 14 singles. 175 rooms and 2 suites are situated in the three-storied central building while the Saint Marina
Village has 130 bungalows and 3 suites. There are two main restaurants in the complex and several bars and snackbars
and a variety of events put on by the hotel. Each year, Doryssa Bay celebrates the name day of the Saint Marina church with a festival on July 16th and 17th . On the eve, a huge buffet is offered at the Village’s square with traditional dishes and sweets, while dance groups give their show with Greek dances. The next day a special service is held and the traditional Samos dish “feast” is offered to all attendees. The beach located right in front of the Hotel, with sand and fine pebbles, is one of the most beautiful and cleanest of Samos island. Trees along the beach offer an ideal natural shadow, and for those wishing to tan under the sun the Hotel provides deck chairs during the day. |
