 The
Loriet Hotel is impressive by any standards and we are proud to be able to include this wonderful hotel in our
portfolio. The hotel is located in the Varia area of Mytilini which is perhaps the richest residential area on
the island and most certainly the most serene. The mansion house which you see above is over 130 years old and
has been restored by the present owners to retain all the features of the original architecture and splendour including
it's sixteen original hand painted ceilings. The old mansion house houses seven luxury suites, a restaurant, saloon
lounge and cocktail bar which all house original period antiques.As well as the Old mansion House, the hotel also has a new additional wing. A modern complex which has been cleverly designed to compliment the mansion house and offer the visitor a choice of luxurious room, studios and modern suites surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. During the building of the new complex, every effort was made to preserve the original flora. One of the many features of the grounds is the Avenue of Laurel and Oliander trees which is over a century old.  The modern complex
is also the site of the hotel's sea water swimming pool which is surrounded by large palm trees and provides shade
as well as wide sun terraces on which to relax.Which ever type of accommodation you choose to stay in at the Loriet, all units within each building feature private bathrooms with full size bath, air-conditioning & heating, hair dryer, direct dial telephone lines, colour televisions, refrigerator and 24 hour room service. All studios and modern suites have a kitchenette which includes a small stove. During the summer season the open air restaurant and Cocktail bar offer wonderful menus and a superb selection of wines. |
