Named after the Sydney Opera House, this friendly family-run apartment hotel is in extensive grounds at the back of the harbour, near the Kataraktis. The hotel is about 150 metres from the harbour and is an easy walk from most amenities. There is vehicle access to the door. Despite its proximity to the harbour, the hotel is removed from the bustle of the main town and is known for its peaceful ambience. The apartments are in purpose built Neo-Classical houses and provide spacious air-conditioned accommodation for two to seven people. The houses are grouped around a shady garden with an attractive outdoor seating area where refreshments may be enjoyed fro the bar. As the Symiot hosts spent considerable time in Australia, they speak good English. Open all year round, there are televisions and telephones in all apartments, equipped with self-catering facilities and fully air-conditioned. The furnishings are comfortable, simple and typically Greek. You can even watch television in bed if you tire of the view! |
