The Hotel Golden Sun is a 24-bed-hotel (3-4 stars or Cat.B) with family atmosphere, smartly located on a gentle slope near the country road to the  upper town HORA and to the port town of SKALA. The uncrowded, attractive sand-and-pebble beaches are only 5 minutes far on foot from the hotel. The view from the balcony and from the  breakfast terrace is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel is built in three terraces on a gentle slope of rocks and is conveniently connected to both towns SKALA and HORA by frequent bus service. The small fishing community of GRIKOS, consisting of only about 50 traditional houses and some small hotels as well as a couple of tavernas, is layed out by the attractive Bay of Grikos which is decorated by sand and/or pebble beaches where vacationers relish water sports in translucent waters.

All of  rooms include airconditioning, telephone, tv, radio, ice-box, bathroom with shower and a big balcony with a breathtaking view to the sea. In the hotel you can find also a mini bar, a TV lounge and a flat roof terrace on the premises, all just a short walk of 5 minutes on foot far from the sea. 400 meters far from the hotel is a café/bar with tennis and beachvolley as well as table tennis and chess. Under floodlight you can enjoy playing sports until late in the warm summer-nights.

The owners: Brigitte/Annoula is German and has been living in Greece for 20 years,  Stavros was born and grew up in Patmos.
