| DAEDALOS Hotel - Cat. B - In Fira Town without Caldera view Built about 15 years ago, the hotel was partly renovated in 1999. Only 100m from the centre with all its restaurants, shops and bars, the Daedalos offers 48 rooms, all with private bathroom with shower/W.C and hairdryer (5 rooms have a bathtub), self regulated A/C (warm and cold), satellite TV, direct dial phone, mini bar and safe box. The rooms have either a private balcony or a patio (no privacy), that overlooks either the swimming pool or the flower beds (no volcano or sea view). Two rooms have no balcony, only a window. There are also 2 family rooms with 4 beds. The rooms have mostly two single beds but there are also some with matrimonial bed. In triples the third bed is a folding bed. As they are overall small, sitting possibilities are very limited. The furnishing is pleasant and comfortable. The rooms are cleaned daily, linen and towels are changed every second day. General hotel facilities comprise a small reception area which also serves as a T.V lounge, a breakfast room where continental breakfast is served, a pleasant swimming pool with sun beds and umbrellas, and a pool bar. Other services provided are fax facilities and 24 hour reception (during the high season May-Sept.). The hotel can be accessed by car but the rooms can only be accessed by long flights of steps. A municipal parking lot is available across the street. |
