The Vritomartis Hotel is a new B' category hotel and the only one of its kind in the entire region of Sfakia, built in traditional Cretan style, marvelously situated on a hillside, overlooking the Sea and only a few meters from Filaki beach where there is a beach bar and water sports facilities.

The Vritomaritis is a licensed naturist resort and broadly follows the guidelines laid down by the International Naturist Federation: none of the indoor areas of the hotel are naturist whilst all the outside areas are naturist from sunrise to sunset (except the road to the beach so as not to offend local sensitivities). Naturism is required by the pool and on the beach.

The hotel has 180 beds in 85 well appointed rooms, 42 of which are located in the main building and 43 in 9 separate bungalows.

The various room types, all of which have private W.C. bath/ shower, private balcony with sea or mountain view, telephone and radio, are:

Rooms in the main building

v Room type 1 : single room with double bed, bathroom and balcony, mountain view.

v Room type 2: 2 bed room with bathroom, balcony and sea view.

v Room type 3: 2 bed room with bathroom, balcony and mountain view.

v Room type 4: 2 -3 persons, double bed + couch bed with bathroom, large balcony and sea view.

v Room type 5: 3 - 5 persons, double bed room and room with 2 single beds and sleeping couch, bathroom, balcony and sea view.

Rooms in the bungalows

v Bungalow type 1: 2 - 4 persons, ground floor, 2 single beds or double bed, sleeping space for an additional 1 - 2 persons, bathroom, terrace with sea view.

v Bungalow type 2: 2 - 3 persons, first floor, 2 single beds, and additional sleeping space for one person, bathroom, sea side terrace.

v Bungalow type 3: 2 - 4 persons, 2 single beds and one double bed, bathroom, 2 - 3 terraces with sea, garden and mountain view.

The lounge - inside bar area, decorated in traditional Cretan style, has a seating capacity for 200 people with TV corner.
The restaurant has a seating capacity of 160 inside and 200 outside. Included in the standard hotel price package is a continental breakfast buffet.
The restaurant also provides lunch and dinner (half or full board arrangements available) with a wide variety of Greek dishes plus buffet.
