The Matala Valley Village Hotel is a B category hotel, situated in a quite, and privileged location 800 m from the sandy beach of Matala, in southern Crete, 65 km from Heraklion airport.

The complex is designed to accommodate more than 90 guests. It consists of a main building with reception area, bar, snack bar, out door veranda, restaurant and six bungalows with 24 rooms, each one with separate and private entrance through the garden.

The bungalows are quieter than the main hotel and are ideal for families or those looking for individuality in their holidays.

The rooms are very clean, comfortable and well isolated from the noise and high Cretan summer temperatures.
They can accommodate 2 or 3 persons and they all have bath/wc, radio, telephone, air conditioning, small fridge and a large balcony

There is a green and well-maintained garden of 6 acres, surrounding the Valley Village complex with its two fresh water swimming pools, (one for adults and one for children) a large terrace with sun chairs shaded under trees or pergolas around the pools. There is also a playground and an outdoor bar.

Once in the week the Valley Village hosts a Greek evening with barbeque in the garden, live music, Syrtaki dance, Cretan wine and lots of fun for those who wish to join in
