The hotel underwent an extensive renovation and the result is a contemporary, fresh and vibrant seafront retreat. The archetypal white-washed surfaces (the famous trademark of Greek islands) are charmingly blended with raw, unvarnished wood, corian worktops, cool light fittings, indigenous ceramic art, colourful Marimekko fabrics and trendy Italian tiling.

There is bus service to Chania every 15 minutes, the 30 studios/3 suites are perfectly situated at a 10 meters distance from the sparkling Mediterranean sea on one of the most beautiful sandy beaches in Chania, at the bay of Agioi Apostoli. The beach has received the Blue Flag award by the EU. All the studios/suites are built and tastefully decorated with respect to the traditional island architecture but with a modern colorful flair and offer a fully equipped kitchenette, air-conditioning, bathroom en suite (with bathtub), direct telephone system, radio, safety box, TV and moreover a balcony/veranda where our guests enjoy the sunset over the Cretan sea.

Along with the beautiful beach the Hotel Ammos is proud of its cozy and relaxing atmosphere, its brand new swimming pool and children's pool, large and well-kept gardens, vast parking spaces, entertainment area and an artistically decorated reception, which leads onto a TV lounge, Internet access room and bar.
