The Astir Palace Resort, at Vouliagmeni, is only 12Km distant from Athens Airport and half hour's drive from Athens. It is built on a pine-grown promontory bathed by the clear, turqoise waters of the Saronic Gulf a location that is generally acknowledged as the most beautiful in Attica. The Resort is owned by the National Bank of Greece, the country's leading financial institution, and is operated by the Astir Hotel Company wich over the years, has become renowned for its consistent dedication to the highest standards in hotel-keeping.

The three hotels on the promontory have been built in such a way as to blend with the natural environment and take full advantage of the magnificent view over tha sea and the surrounding landscape.

The Arion, the Nafsika and the Aphrodite are all fully equipped to satisfy the audio-visual, secretarial, simultaneous translation and telecommunications requirements of any modern congress, conference or meeting and can host receptions of up to 1,500 persons. Every year, the Astir Palace Resort is chosen for an ever growing number of such functions. In 1996, an added feature to the convention facilities was ISDN lines (Intergrated Services Digital Network), installed at the Resort's conference rooms which makes it possible to hold teleconferences and allows the simultaneous transmission of voice, data, text and video.

Another feature of the Resort is an entertainment group with animators and performers who put on shows and theme parties. They organize "happenings" in all three hotels and at all times of the day.

Finally, the Resort is fully equipped for tennis and for sea sports of all kinds such as water-skiing, windsurfing, paragliding and others.

 APHRODITE

The Aphrodite Astir Palace was the last hotel to be built at the Astir Resort and has a unique view over the Saronic Gulf and its outlying islands. It has the traditional Greek island style and the atmosphere is cosier and more casual and intimate than in the other two hotels.

It has 165 rooms including 2 suites, an outdoor swimming pool, a secluded artificial sun terrace built into the cliffs at sea level, shops, bars, a restaurant as well as conference facilities.

ARION

The Arion Astir Palace was the first built hotel at the Astir Resort and it quickly became the prime meeting place in Greece for the Greek & the international jet set. It’s all-marble reception area and verandas give it a luxurious atmosphere. It has 158 fully renovated rooms, among which are the Presidential Suite, one Executive Suite as well as 15 Junior Suites and 22 Penthouse Rooms. Additional 76 bungalows overlooking the private beach offer secluded accommodation.The amenities include organized watersports, a health club, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, shops, bars and restaurants as well as conference facilities.

NAFSIKA

The Nafsika Astir Palace is hidden from view, except from the sea, being built along the pine-dotted cliffside. Thus the reception area is on ground level and the rooms, each with its own spacious and secluded veranda facing the bay, stretch down to the Olympic-size swimming pool and private beach at sea level. It has 163 rooms including the Presidential Suite, one Executive Suite and 8 Junior Suites and also houses the Business Center and the largest conference room of the resort. It is considered ideal for gala dinners and theme parties, which can be held by the pool or in one of the two restaurants.
